Indoor Skiing
Analysis of an advertising parntership
In a study commissioned by the Salzburg Tourism Association (SLTG), tourism researchers interviewed visitors at the indoor skiing facility in Neuss (Germany) - which is sponsored by the SLTG - as to the motivation of their visit, frequency of visit, visit behaviour and previous experiences with winter holidays. Focus was on identification of behavioural targets of visitors - particularly in regard to concrete booking intentions, in order to determine the level of advertising success. Supported and unsupported degree of awareness / name recognition of the holiday destinations Salzburg state, Zell/See - Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemme, Holiday Region Lungau, Gasteinertal, SportsWorld amadé, Hochkönig und Obertauern regions.
Darüber hinaus wurde der Bekanntheitsgrad der Urlaubsdestinationen SalzburgerLand, Zell/See - Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Ferienregion Lungau, Gasteinertal, Sportwelt amadé, Region Hochkönig und Obertauern ermittelt.
Schlussendlich wurden die Verhaltensziele der Besucher - im Bezug auf die konkrete Buchungsabsicht - ermittelt.
