Usability Test vor Relaunch der Website "Urlaub am Bauernhof"
Einen Urlaub am Bauernhof online so einfach wie möglich suchen und buchen zu können - das war der Fokus des im Rahmen des Innovationschecks des BMWFJ durchgeführten Usability-Tests der neuen Website von Urlaub am Bauernhof Österreich. Die kurz vor dem Relaunch stehende Website wurde einem Usability Tests unterzogen, um die Website auf ihre Hauptfunktionalitäten zu testen, Schwachstellen zu identifizieren und minimieren und in Folge eine optimale Gebrauchstauglichkeit für UserInnen sicherzustellen. |

Tourism know-how for Sri Lanka and Nepal
The project provides for know-how transfer of expertise from Austria and Nepal in the following fields:
- Service standards, product quality, etc. for tourism-related SMEs
- Training and continuing education (development of training programs, train the trainer, development of training material, etc.)
- Internet marketing (online marketing for SMEs, platforms, search engine management etc.)
The research activity is particularly focused on: the definition of minimal requirements for products and service quality of accomodation enterprises; development and implementation of a training institution for tourism-related SMEs; development of quality management systems for enterprises as well as for training programs; particular measures toward enhanced awareness, know-how transfer.

"What do women expect from a website?" - The issue of gender-related usability has been addresses by the operating authorities of the Steirerhofe in Bad Waltersdorf. Due to the implementation of the Innovationsscheck by BMWFJ we monitor gender-specific usability-tests with female probands.
